A Wind Through Time and Space
A Wind Through Time and Space

Ah—
I, who have been both man and woman,
did I come to this unreasonable world,
so heavy with sorrow,
so loud with noise, only to taste its absurdities?
The rulers of a phantom empire,
seeming to reign like demon kings,
look down upon us
with faces shaped by arrogance.
Yet, O human—how fortunate you are.
One day,
on a very beautiful day,
a thought quietly arises:
“I am tired of this roller coaster.”
He—or she—steps off.
And in that instant,
consciousness converges,
returning
to the ancient time.
At once,
a wind carrying the scent of seasonal grasses
gently brushes their cheek.
They suddenly remember
they have wings.
Long ago,
they once flew freely
across the vast sky of the spirit.
Softly, they murmur:
“Ah, how quiet it is.
I can see many layers of my own sky at once.”
And then,
they will say:
“I will fly—
because today
is just the right day
to fly.”
because today
is just the right day
to fly
to fly
