Freedom of the Age of the Wind
The Age of Air
Since the world entered the Age of Air, everything has been undergoing dramatic transformation.
Yet we, the children of this new era, are meant to live with serenity and freedom—and in fact many of our companions already do so.
In this turbulent time, I strive to express its essence through the artistic medium of painting.

The Hypocrisy of So-Called “Diversity”
One of the familiar tactics of people from the old era is to conceal the intentions of the ruling powers behind seemingly righteous slogans, manipulating and indoctrinating the public.
However, such methods no longer work on those of us who belong to the Age of Air.
Indeed, humanity is diverse.
But the land, the town, the nation, the homeland in which each of us was born and raised possesses a uniqueness found nowhere else.
We must cherish it, protect it, and sustain it.
We must not be deceived by the sweet words of those who wish to control us.
Our nation, our land, our towns, our homelands each hold their own beauty, traditions, and love—qualities that resonate with all humankind.
Yet under the banner of “diversity,” these should never be trampled or erased.

Is There Poetry Within Us?
In this era when the uniqueness of cultures seems threatened,
we may have been pushed to the margins—labeled as a minority or as eccentric,
set aside by the currents of the age.
Yet perhaps within each of us lies a trace of poetry, however small or quiet it may be.
This poetry is warm and natural.
It protects us, no matter what our daily lives may look like,
and it preserves our truest selves.
My own paintings also contain this poetry—
a thread that leads back to the homeland of my soul,
an invisible place of spiritual origin.
Humanity is indeed diverse, and each person lives with different purposes and values.
But the vast, unseen homeland of the soul unfolds within each heart
according to the nature of that individual soul.
“Yes… the poetry truly is here.”

The Role of the People of the Age of Air — and My Art
We, the people of the Age of Air,
are destined to be creators.
This calling is not limited to glassworkers, potters, painters, or photographers.
It belongs just as much to those who till the soil, those who wrest life from the sea,
those who cook, those who nourish their families,
writers, makers, builders—
all who shape the world with their own hands.
These are the true citizens of the new era:
a world where we refuse the indoctrination of those who seek to rule us,
and where the sovereignty of the individual spirit is fiercely protected.
For these people—for my companions in this unfolding age—
I will continue to create paintings that carry a message,
spiritual works that speak unmistakably to the soul.
